Banca Antoniana Popolare Veneta, an Italian bank, amounted to 76% of its outstanding share capital. In April 2005, it acquired a Belgian private bank, Bank Corluy. In April 2005, the Company exercised its right to acquire the cumulative preference shares of ABN AMRO Bouwfonds Nederlandse Gemeenten N.V. (Bouwfonds), in addition to the 100% economic interest it acquired in 2000.
